Body:

Test pens have become one of the main tools in any toolbox and can be used in a wide range of settings, from homes and offices to industrial and construction sites. Its body (rod) is made from high-quality, quenched, and tempered steel (40Cr) which guarantees high performance in long-term usage.
This rigid and durable body is covered by environmentally friendly ABS plastic that features an ergonomic design. This cover makes using our RH-2714 model quite easy and comfortable while also offering insulation to avoid any unwanted electrical current entering your body through your hands.
Both of these features are enhanced by the nickel-coated tip of this tool. This tip has a slotted drive (flathead) which helps this 140mm test pen to have the ability to also work as a standard screwdriver.

Design:

The way test pens determine if a circuit is live or not is by having a small light inside them that lights up when the tip of the pen is touching a live circuit while the operator holds the end of the pen, closing the circuit. Our RH-2714 model is equipped with a xenon light at its end which lights up when connected to a live circuit. This light is replaceable which means if for any reason it dies, you can easily replace it, breathing new life into your test pen. This feature separates Ronix RH-2714 from other test pens that become useless once their irreplaceable light dies.
