Ronix RH-3727 and Ronix RH-3707 are made of aluminum oxide which is generally recommended for grinding materials of high tensile strength, such as stainless steel and tool steels but it can also be used on some high tensile aluminum and bronze alloys. They have the same arbor size (22.23mm) and the maximum speed of 80m/s. They are suitable for grinding metal applications.
For Ronix Grinding Wheels RH-3727/ RH-3707 there is a disc-shaped type having a depressed center. Rh-3727 Grinding Wheel is designed to rotate at 13300 RPM, and RH-3707 Grinding Wheel is designed to rotate 8500 RPM.
Resinoid Bonded Ronix Grinding Wheel RH-3727 115mm/ RH-3707 180mm grinding wheels have been stored under ideal storage conditions. It may be true under ideal storage conditions. Resinoid bonded grinding wheels can survive without any degradation in strength for well over two years. However, it is always wise to suspect any wheels over two years old and re-speed tested to determine if there has been any degradation in strength. If the wheels are stored under less than ideal conditions, they may have a much shorter shelf life depending upon the severity of storage conditions. Ronix Grinding Wheel RH-3727 115mm/ RH-3707 180mm with their aluminum oxide components can be your first choice.
